Join us on Thursday, May 2 as we recognize the National Day of Prayer

We will be holding an all-day prayer gathering from 6:00 AM through 7:00 PM in the Worship Center–just come and go as you are available during the day. Prayer hosts will be guiding assembled prayer as we intercede for our nation, our communities, our church, and our world. Our goal is to have continuous prayer throughout the day.

For those who are unable to join us in person, from 12:00-1:00 PM, the pastors will be live-streaming the prayer meeting, extending the invitation to participate to those at workplaces and homes.

Please join us for this national holiday dedicated to prayer. God’s people are being called to stand in the gap for our nation and society, and as a church we want to answer that call.

About the National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer tradition predates the founding of the United States of America, evidenced by the Continental Congress’ proclamation in 1775 setting aside a day of prayer. In 1952, Congress established an annual day of prayer and, in 1988, that law was amended, designating the National Day of Prayer as the first Thursday in May.
