FELLOWSHIP CHURCH INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
As we prepare for winter, we need to be mindful of the changing temperatures and severe conditions that are associated with winter. We want to make sure that everyone can enjoy the fellowship and activities of the season safely. Please read the following details regarding our inclement weather policy and how we will communicate.
SUNDAY INCLEMENT WEATHER SCHEDULE
During inclement weather, it is our intention to have a worship service for those who can attend. This is not to encourage anyone to risk travel during dangerous conditions, but rather acknowledge that local weather patterns often times vary significantly between local neighborhoods. The decision to follow the Inclement Weather Schedule will be made by the church staff. When the decision is made to follow the Inclement Weather Schedule, we will follow specific procedures to communicate the change as early and as effectively as possible (see below).
On the rare occasion that the church campus cannot be utilized safely (such as during a severe ice storm) we may move to an online format and communicate accordingly.
WEEKDAY SCHEDULES
When it is deemed necessary, all church ministry activities scheduled for a specific time of day and/or day of the week will follow a consistent Inclement Weather Schedule. For example: “all Thursday morning ministry activities will be cancelled” or “all ministry activities scheduled for Tuesday have been cancelled.”
Please note that if there are no cancellations or changes in services or activities, it will not be communicated.
We will only announce when there are cancellations.
