Election Day is Tuesday, November 4
We have the unique privilege of serving as a polling place for two wards in Dallas Township on November 4.
We are so grateful for this incredible opportunity to bless hundreds or even thousands of voters through hospitality on Election Day. We are asking our church family to help support the event through prayer. Here are three specific areas you can pray for:
1. Community
Election Day has always been a huge opportunity to serve and bless our community!
How you can pray:
- Pray that all of our guests (election staff, voters, and campaigners) would feel welcome and safe on our campus.
- Pray that our church would continue to find favor with the township and Luzerne County, and that this event would open the door for more community outreach events.
- Pray that this event would be catalyst for unity between Fellowship Church and our community.
2. Hospitality
We are so thankful for to have so many in our church with the gifts of hospitality.
How you can pray:
- Pray that our staff and volunteers would display Christ-like love, humility, and service in their interactions with our guests.
- Pray that all those who have committed to serve would have the strength and energy to go the extra mile to make our guests feel welcomed and at ease.
- Pray that we have enough resources (baked goods, volunteers, supplies) to meet all of the needs we encounter on Tuesday.
3. Gospel Witness
It is our mission to pervade our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
How you can pray:
- Pray that our volunteers are prepared to give an answer for anyone who has questions.
- Pray that our service during Election Day provides us with more opportunities to share the gospel.
- Pray that our guests would learn about opportunities to learn and grow at Fellowship Church through their time on our campus.
- Pray that some would come to know Christ as Lord and Savior as a result of this event.
