Praying for Bolivia Missions
On Friday, October 31, we will be sending Pastor Stephen, Lee Piatt, Meryth Piatt, Bob Wiernusz, and LeeAnn Wiernusz to Santa Cruz, Bolivia with IBAC. Pastor Stephen, Lee, and Bob will be teaching a course on the doctrine of man and sin to equip lay pastors. Please keep them in prayer and use the guide below as you pray!
Itinerary
- Friday, October 31 at 9:30 AM – Flight from New York City to Panama
- Friday, October 31 at 4:40 PM – Flight to Santa Cruz
- Sunday, November 9 at 12:00 PM – Flight to Brazil
- Sunday, November 9 at 9:30 PM – Flight to New York City
Bolivia Team Prayer Needs
- Health and safety in travel and in countries for all participants
Pray for health during the flights, protection and immunity from any illnesses, and that there would be a smooth transition through customs when they arrive. - Good working relationship and unity with interpreter and other team members
As they enter into a country where Spanish is the first language, pray for God’s grace to abound as they relate to and work with students, leaders, and citizens of Santa Cruz. Pray that the team and interpreter would be united in Christ and build gospel-centered relationships. - Accurate teaching
Pray that the teaching would be clear. That the interpreter would be able to understand and easily translate the teaching, and that the biblical truths taught are easily understood. - Bolivian leaders and lay pastors
Pray for their travels from across Bolivia to Santa Cruz, and that God will help them have joy and focus as they learn from the six sessions. Pray that the Holy Spirit will apply the lessons to their understanding and memory so they can accurately handle the Word of God. - Fruitfulness in encouraging and partnering together
Pray that our partnership and fellowship with the brothers and sisters in Bolivia would be strengthened, and that we would be able to encourage and build one another up in the Lord.
In all things, pray that Christ would be glorified through our team and the ministry of IBAC.
