Pastoral Visit to Europe
At Fellowship Church, our mission is to pervade the Back Mountain, the Wyoming Valley, and the world with the Gospel by making disciples who make disciples. Missions is not something we outsource—it’s something we’re deeply connected to. We are passionate about sending and supporting missionaries, staying connected with them, and investing in them and their work for the long haul.
Missions is not something we outsource—it’s something we’re deeply connected to.
One of the priorities of our elders and Missions Team is to provide regular pastoral visits to the missionaries we support. These visits are intended to encourage our missionaries, strengthen our connection with the communities they serve, and give us a clearer understanding of how God is at work in different parts of the world.

This June, Pastor Karl Dyrli and his wife, Quinn, will travel to the Czech Republic to visit Kayla Hennings, our supported missionary on the EFCA Prague City Team. Kayla grew up at Fellowship Church and participated in several short-term mission trips over the years—some of which were led by Pastor Karl and Quinn. God used those experiences to prepare and call her into full-time missions, and she now serves faithfully in Prague as part of the Evangelical Free Church mission team.
During their time in Prague, Pastor Karl and Quinn will meet with Kayla, connect with other missionaries and local church leaders, and reunite with many individuals they’ve come to know through past mission trips. They’ll also be bringing three of their sons along to witness firsthand what God is doing through global missions.
As part of this trip, the Dyrlis will also visit Quinn’s brother, Ed O’Mara, and his family in Torino, Italy. Ed is a church-planting pastor and missions director, and the Dyrlis will have the opportunity to learn more about how God is advancing the Gospel through church planting in that region as well. These experiences will help inform our church’s understanding of both overseas missions and church planting.
Please be in prayer for this trip—that it would be used by God to encourage Kayla, bless the believers in Prague, and further equip Fellowship Church to support and participate in what God is doing around the world. Through these pastoral visits, we hope to build lasting bridges and deepen our connection to the global body of Christ.
We’re grateful to be part of God’s work in the world—making disciples who make disciples, and displaying the glory of Jesus Christ in every phase of life.
