Multiplying through supporting church plants
In keeping with our vision of being a multiplying church, we are thrilled to share a recent update on our church planting efforts. We recently supported three established church plants within the EFCA, consistent with our expanded vision to strengthen and plant churches to be healthy worshipping, growing, and serving congregations.
Our Commitment to Church Planting
With $12,000 designated in our 2024 budget for church planting, we committed half of the budget toward future church planting efforts—ensuring we are positioned to launch a new plant out of Fellowship Church as the Lord leads. The other half, totaling $6,000 ($2,000 each), was given to three EFCA church plants that have already launched and are establishing themselves in their communities:
- Branch Evangelical Church in Medford, New Jersey
- Living Hope Fellowship in Mills River, NC (a hub for the EFCA’s Hurricane Helene crisis response!)
- Radiant Christian Community in Homestead, Florida
These churches were recommended by EFCA Southeast District Superintendent and former Lead Pastor of Fellowship Church Marc Ramirez and current Lead Pastor Pastor Stephen Anderson, and are working diligently to make disciples and spread the Gospel in their communities. By supporting them, we’re joining together in the mission to make Christ known. Part of our vision for multiplying involves coming alongside other churches and church plants to strengthen them.
Multiplying Through Partnerships
As we pursue our vision to be a worshipping, growing, serving, and multiplying church, this kind of generosity is an example of what multiplying looks like in action. Multiplication isn’t just about starting new plants ourselves; it’s also about empowering and resourcing other churches and church plants so they can flourish.
We are excited to see how God will use these three churches to grow His kingdom, and we look forward to sharing more as we continue on this journey of multiplication! Please pray for these churches as they spread the Gospel, along with our missionaries both locally and globally, all for the glory of God!
