Children’s safety is a top priority for us while they are in our care at Fellowship Church. We are constantly evaluating and seeking ways to improve the safety and security of children throughout the week, and especially on Sunday mornings.
With that in mind, we want parents to know that in the coming weeks we will be implementing a new check-in procedure for our Kids’ Ministry classes. Beginning this September, parents will be asked to sign their children in to one of our check-in computer located in either building.
If you have children who have been in our nursery in recent years, you are already familiar with this check-in system.
If not, here’s how it will work:
On Sunday mornings, you will be able to sign your child in using a 4-digit access pin. If you do not already have one, you can create one when you register your child or one will be created for you. Once you are logged in to the check-in system, you will be able to sign your child in to their appropriate class. The check-in program will register your child as in-attendance that day and print for you a sticker to adhere to your child’s clothing, as well as a claim ticket which you will use to pick your child up.
Both the sticker and claim ticket will have a matching number, so that only the parent/caregiver or person authorized by the parent will be able to check your child out of class using that claim ticket.
We are hoping that this will provide an extra measure of security for our children and give you a better sense of relief while they are in their class. As this will be a new procedure, we do expect that it may take some time for everyone to learn. We ask for your patience in this process, but please know that our Kid’s Ministry leadership team, as well as our Director of Administration, will be available to help answer any questions and help get everyone adjusted.
